2012 Championships

Classic and Sports Car Club Magnificent 7s	Series run for all '7' type cars. 30min practise and a 40min race with a mandatory pitstop each weekend. Designed for one or 2 drivers to take part and still be equal. Cars are put in to classes depending on engine size. SPY Motorsport will run up to 5 cars in this series in 2012. Including a 280bhp CSR, 2 250bhp R400s an R300 and a Tracksport.

Caterham Tracksport	First rung on the Caterham ladder that allows full team support. Car is based on the Academy Car, with 120 bhp Ford 1600 Sigma engine with a 5 speed gearbox, but with wider track front suspension and siffer springs and dampers all round and a rear anti roll bar. Headlights and windscreen are removed and the car also has a higher rev limit. Each weekend there is a 20min qualifying session and two 30min races. SPY will be supporting one car in this championship in 2012

Caterham Superlight R300	Top step of the Caterham Ladder. Cars are a race only car with a 2.0litre 175bhp Ford Duratec engine with a 6 speed gearbox, race springs and dampers and a Limited Slip differential. This is a highly competitive championship with 30 minutes racing providing great entertainment. SPY Motorsport will be supporting up to 6 cars in the championship in 2012

GT4	GT type race series with cars developed by different manuacturors inculding Ginetta, BMW, Nissan and Lotus. Cars are developed from road cars and are the entry level in GT racing. SPY Motorsport have 2 Ginettas in GT4 spec. These have a 3.7litre Ford V6 engine with 370bhp a 6 Speed sequential gearbox and run on slick tyres, with a weight of just under 1000kg it makes for a very competitve GT car. The Spec of the car also allows it to run in GT championships throughout the world. SPY Motorsport will be running in select rounds of British GTs and the European GT4 Cup in 2012
